As we prepare for the 2021 AMMA Conference, we understand that you might have questions about the event relating to COVID-19.
We confirm that planning for the 2021 AMMA Conference will proceed.
In following the advice from the Australian Department of Health and the World Health Organisation, the organisers of AMMA continue to monitor the current situation daily regarding the outbreak of COVID-19.
MCEC requires all visitors over the age of 12 to be fully vaccinated (unless you have a formal medical exemption) to enter the venue. Please download the Service Victoria app and sync your vaccination details to the app prior to the conference.
What happens if I am not vaccinated due to medical reasons?
You are required to provide evidence in order to be granted access.
Can I attend the conference if I have only received one vaccination dose?
No, you will NOT be granted access and will be turned away. Only people who are fully vaccinated will be allowed entry to the venue.
During the Conference
Where do I register when I arrive at the Conference?

You will be required to print your own name badge at the name badge kiosks. Please bring along your final confirmation email, which would have the QR code that will enable you to print your name badge.

Will there be a mobile app for the Conference?
This year there will not be a printed handbook for delegates. The mobile app will be made available for download via your app store. For speaker bios, program, venue details, social events and to exchange contact information, please use the mobile app.
How will I know if there have been any changes to the program?
In the lead-up to the conference, edits will be made to the program. See the latest version of the program on the website and Conference App. Any changes to the conference program during the conference will be announced during housekeeping notices each morning. You may also check with Leishman Associates staff at the registration desk.
Can I photograph or record the Conference sessions?
Delegates are not permitted to use any type of camera or recording device at any of the sessions unless written permission has been obtained from the relevant speaker. A photographer will be at the conference, if you have any issues with being photographed please notify the photographer or Leishman Associates staff.
What is the Anti-Harassment Policy?
We will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating the Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
